Anarchy Realms Mission

To change TTRPGs to include more movement and dynamic, cinematic moments in combat and social events. How is Anarchy Realms different from other RPGs?

The whole point of a tabletop role-playing game is to arbitrate a collective story so that friends can come together to explore it. In that sense, Anarchy Realms is just like those games. Where it differs is how it tackles development of narrative, fights and social situations in the game with mechanics.

There are two major types of games, combat focus games descended from the war games of old, and narrative focused story games that don't so much have combat as they have a Calvinball-esque set of rules to resolve the combat narrative. Anarchy Realms strives to merge those games into one thing, while being LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly.

Who is making this?

Pangoria Fallstar is the name of my online avatar. She is the feminine expression of myself, as idealized in a vtuber. I myself am a 40+ year old trans-nonbinary genderfluid dungeon master, writer and game designer.

I have been making video games for over 10 years, and have been in the modding community for over 20 years. Similarly I've written fanfiction, and created homebrew for Dungeons and Dragons for over 20 years as well.

I love games, and even pursued a degree in it with a Bachelor's of Science in Game Design. This of course, was only achieved because I loved Game Design so much.

I am trying to do everything at once, which while manic, is the only way I seem to be able to operate. I bounce around between goals and projects hoping to improve everything I do.

Anarchy Realms was seriously started in January of 2023, but its nooks and crannies were being puffed up by the yeast of... time and.... okay this whole metaphor has gotten away from me.

ORC License

Released under the Open RPG Creative (ORC) license, this game invites players to explore a dynamic world where the rules are flexible, and the possibilities are endless. With the ORC license, you have the freedom to adapt, remix, and share Anarchy Realms, making it a truly collaborative and player-driven experience. Embark on an adventure like no other, where imagination knows no bounds, and the journey is yours to shape.

There will never be a fee to create and redistribute the core game of Anarchy Realms. Everything else attached to it, outside of the core game, such as specific settings and worlds belong to those who create it, but the game itself is FREE.

I would like support to maintain the website and hosting costs ($20 per year for the domain, unless something untoward happens to it), and daily support so I can focus on publishing would also help and not be turned away.
